Emilie has always had a passion for English and found some of the biggest role models in her own English teachers. In May of 2020, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Communications, with a minor in film studies. In college, she took courses in journalism, media studies, film, editing and publishing, and public relations. During her time in university, Emilie had the opportunity to study abroad in Cork, Ireland, and found a love for travel. It didn’t take long before she decided she would combine her passion for English with her newfound yearning to travel.

Upon her graduation from university, she earned her TEFL certificate from International TEFL Academy. She has since been gaining experience teaching English to children, teens, and adults from around the world.

Emilie hopes to make learning English a fun and stress-free experience. She loves to include games and multimedia learning materials. Her lessons are relevant and personalized to each individual student.

When she is not lesson planning or teaching, you can find her reading a good mystery novel, watching a film, or writing a new blog post!
